Do you do whitening at your office?
We utilize the KOR whitening system which provides custom trays for a two-week night time whitening routine. You can find all about their award-winning product here.
Do you make dentures?
We make complete and partial premium acrylic dentures. We also make framework supported partial dentures composed of metal or a milled substrate. We will design your smile to look natural within the facial anatomy. Dentures include a try-in appointment to ensure you are satisfied prior to final processing.
At what age do you start seeing children?
We welcome kids to the office at the sign of their first tooth. At our initial appointment, we will spend most of our time educating parents about proper nutrition and homecare for their child. It is important that children get exposed to the office at a young age to learn it is not a scary place. For any invasive children’s treatment that we are unable to safely perform at our office, we will refer to a kids only dentist where they can have a comfortable and pleasant experience.
Why do I need a crown instead of a filling?
Fillings are used for teeth that have minimal to moderate damage or decay. Fillings do not provide the tooth protection like a full coverage crown, or as some call it a “cap.” If a filling is extremely large it may increase the chance of tooth fracture which may be irreparable. Root canal treated teeth are weaker and more prone to fracture so a crown is usually recommended for protection and longevity.
Are implants right for me?
A comprehensive medical history review and dental exam with radiographs is essential to determine if implants are right for you. Every patient is unique and your options will be presented thoroughly at your appointment once necessary diagnostic records are collected. We use oral surgeons and periodontists to place our patient’s implants. Dr. Sherry works with several offices to create a patient centered treatment plan including single tooth implant replacement, implant supported bridges, and full arch implant reconstruction.
